The National Alliance on Mental Illness New York City Metro affiliate held their annual Mental Health Walk to raise money and awareness for their advocacy work. Walkers started at the South Street Seaport, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge and then went back. T-shirts, live music and snacks were had by all, though most importantly, the walk created a feeling of unity for all who attend to the cause of people with serious mental health diagnoses.
